SLPonyplay - where the ponies meet - your 'hoofbook' for SecondLife ponies

Lightening formerly served as a hu-cow for a local farm.  She wandered onto Wildfire property, where her demeanor and clear interests in the activities of the pony-girls of Wildfire led her ownertrainer, VelocityVenom, to persuade her to give up the cow life and learn the joys of ponydom.  Since that time, Lightening has found herself embracing all that it means to be a proud pony-girl.

Many people are confused by the name - Lightening.  Yes, it is supposed to be spelled that way, not  'Lightning'.  While it is meant to reference the electrical phenomenon - indicative of her fire and energy, it also has much deeper meaning.  As a former cow, there is certainly the appropriate connotation that a shedding of weight has occurred.  Also, she keeps her mane and tail pristinely white - lightened if you will.  She can also be rather insightful, and can share deep thoughts and emotions - enlightening those around her.  So the name is as it is - there is not a mis-spelling, and she is not going to float off before your eyes (well, there are those pesky jump bounces - but that is a different matter)

Lightening displays an eagerness for becoming the best pony that she can possibly be, and is particularly keen on competitive activities.  She is driven to push her limits and improve at every opportunity, and has been known to get frustrated when things don't go how she expects them to.   Her attitude can best be described as Proud and gentle, with a streak of feistyness and fire.  She has been known to get into mischief, so appropriate reminders of her place may be in order.
