SLPonyplay - where the ponies meet - your 'hoofbook' for SecondLife ponies

The first in a series of events I'd like to call the "Fifth Week Special" or FWS! These are events only held on the 5th Saturday and/or Sunday of the month.

Riders and ponies, ready thy lance and courage and square off on the jousting list in the Sport of Kings against other riders and ponies!

This is a practice session/class that provides everyone new to jousting the opportunity to learn how to use the Kish Lance and the LuvPonyPlay Saddle to joust in preparation for the tournament on Sunday (as currently scheduled, the date may change as to coordinate with other events currently not scheduled at the time of this writing - Dec 26, 2023).

You will learn how to set up the lance with your avatar/pony setup, how to aim the lance, and how to score points in matches. Ponies will learn how to steer with the saddle (if they have no prior experience) and how to work with their rider to coordinate jousting moves that may result in successful strikes on their targets. 

A rezzer for the LuvPonyPlay Saddle will be provided on site, but you can usually find one at many pony stables as well as on the Marketplace if you want to practice on your own: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/LuvPonyPlay-Saddle-System-11/17856107.

Additional color change-and-effect huds for the lance are available at an additional charge. 

By the end of the practice session, you will be well on your way to jousting like a pro, whether you are the rider or the pony. Jousting is easy to pick up, but tricky to master, as with anything!

You may come with a partner (trainer/pony pair), or we will seek to match you up with others as possible. 

Please note: The current system setup is not perfect and glitches and errors are expected. Please come with an open mind, lots of patience, and a positive spirit. If there is sufficient interest, work is proposed to begin on a lance and/or saddle that can be more appropriate for ponyplay jousting.

The Blackwater Easter Steeple is a fun little walking steeple race as follows:

Start: Friday, March 29 at 9pm
End: Saturday, March 30 at 9pm
