Hello Polo players and Polo lovers!

On the 26th of March at 10AM, Tall Tails will be hosting the ProAm Cup!

We tried this last year and it was a great success. The idea is to give people into ponyplay the opportunity to take part in a tournament style Polo Cup without the anxiety and pressure that comes with taking part in the more well established leagues and cups that already exist in our ponyplay sphere in SL.

This year we will have no limit on the amount of teams. However, due to the nature of the cup the amount of teams we can have is determined entirely by how many Amateur players we get. As we are likely to get more Professional registrations than Amateur we will be operating on a first come, first served basis. If you register and there are no free spaces you will be put on a list of 'waiting' Professional players.

To be considered an Amateur, you must have either played in no previous tournaments (other than the ProAm), be in your first ever season of CPL or PPL, or have been a reserve player with minimum games played for a Professional team.

On the day of the event teams will be formed by pulling names at random, the idea being that each team will have one randomly assigned ‘Professional’ polo player and one randomly assigned ‘Amateur’ player. We will start the player draft at 10AM SLT on the day of the cup, so make sure to come early if you want to see your team drafted early and get to meet your partner!

This year, team names will be revealed on the day of the event.

Games will be starting at around 10:30AM SLT.

We will be releasing the Challonge link close to the time of the tournament.

Everyone who takes part will be given a special present on the day of the cup, those who took part last year will know what this is. And of course, there is a trophy available for the top 3 teams ^^
