SLPonyplay - where the ponies meet - your 'hoofbook' for SecondLife ponies

Frilly Filly Farm is accepting photographs of member ponies for a Beautiful Ponies Contest to run from November 20 - December 20, 2017. 

Twelve winners will be selected whose photos will appear on the pages of the Frilly Filly Farm 2018 Pony Calendar that will be available to all members of Frilly Filly Farm in 2018.

In addition to being immortalized on our calendar, each of the 12 lucky winners will receive L$500 as a contest prize, when they are announced at the FFF New Year's Eve party! Calendars will be available also at that time to put up in your sl homes.

Official photo contest rules.

Ponies can be male or female, human, "furry", reptile, etc. Photos must be a current (2017) photo of a FFF pony in acceptable pony tack (see FFF Handbook Chapter 3 for rules on acceptable tack - https://frillyfillyfarm.wordpress.com/handbook/).

All photos must be taken somewhere at Frilly Filly Farm. If you want certain trees set for winter, spring, summer, or fall pictures for a few days, contact Button Wright.

Photos should employ an aspect ratio of 4 x 3 (e.g. 800 x 600 or 512 x 384) and have Full Permissions Granted. The NAME of the photo should be just the Pony's name (less than 24 characters). If needed, additional information can be included in the photo's Description.

Photos must be submitted by the pony, and not by others, to the Drop Box at the Frilly Filly Farm Landing Point.

No photos will be accepted after Midnight SLT December 20, 2017.

FFF ponies can submit only one photo for this contest. If more than one photo is submitted, the most recently submitted photo will be accepted and prior photos will be removed from consideration.

All photos submitted become the property of Frilly Filly Farm and will be available for viewing on a Photo Viewer in the FFF Barn.

Photos may not be post-edited with superimposed words or images.

Only pictures of single ponies will be accepted, for example, no carriages with multiple ponies or riders will be eligible.

The twelve winning photos will be selected by a panel of at least 4 judges that includes members from FFF Stable Management, FFF Trainers, FFF Pony Owners, and FFF Ponies. Judges and their owned ponies may not enter the contest.

Photos will be judged on the basis of:

• Adherence/Appropriateness to theme of FFF Ponyplay
• Originality of tack: color and style combinations
• Beauty of the pony: skin, hair, shape, jewelry, tattoos, etc.
• Creativity, for example, action shots , setting, theme
• Overall Artistic Impression: Color, Lighting, Exposure, Focus, Balance etc,

This is a Frilly Filly Farm Calendar and only current members of FFF’s Tortured Dreams group can submit photos for consideration. Non-members who wish to submit a picture may join the FFF group using the normal procedures any time during the contest.
